Danijela Trachtenberg was born hearing and became deaf as a baby when she was 9 months. She emigrated from Europe when she was twenty years old. Eventually settling in Rochester, NY in the early 1990’s and starting her own family. She works for a Local New York State government agency, teaches American Sign Language to hearing students and is a very talented professional photographer. She shares with us her intimate story.
