Medical Update#1 This program is part 1 of a 4 part series on Cochlear Implants. The presentation took place at the Rochester Academy of Medicine in Rochester, NY. It features Dr. Irene Leigh and Dr. John Christiansen both PH.D.s and experts on Cochlear Implants. This is part of the annual Lyon Daughters Lecture series. This first edition features an introduction by Allis D'Amanda one of the granddaughters of Edmund and Carolyn Lyon. The presentation begins on the background of cochlear implants and the rise in their use today.
